What Georgian travellers should know before applying

This page is written for holders of ordinary Georgian passports who plan a short tourist trip to Singapore. It puts our requirements, prices and terms side by side, so you can see the whole picture before you gather anything.

Singapore’s Immigration & Checkpoints Authority (ICA) says that a person holding a travel document issued by Georgia needs a visa to enter Singapore. It adds that holders of diplomatic and service passports do not. Here we deal with ordinary passports. Entry rules change from time to time, so look at ICA’s current guidance before paying for anything that cannot be refunded.

We are a private visa application service, not a government body, and we do not decide applications. Our role is to explain what is needed, check what you send us and handle your application once it is complete. Only the Singapore authorities decide the result, and nothing here promises approval.

What our service covers

  • A single checklist

The documents and details every traveller must provide, listed in one place.

  • A review of your file

We read your application and uploads and email you if something has to be corrected or added.

  • Handling and submission

Once the file is complete, we process it and submit it through the applicable Singapore visa application channel.

  • Delivery of the e-Visa

If the visa is approved, the electronic visa (e-Visa) goes to the email address in your application.

Delays rarely come from the rules themselves. They come from a name written two different ways, a hotel booking that does not fit the flight dates, or an old photograph. A few minutes of checking before you apply is the cheapest way to avoid all three.

Who can apply through our service

Our tourist visa service is open to holders of ordinary Georgian passports, one of the ten passport nationalities we currently support. Here is how that works for different kinds of traveller.

  • Ordinary passport holders

You need a valid Georgian passport that satisfies the six-month validity rule explained below.

  • Diplomatic and service passports

ICA says holders of diplomatic and service passports do not need a visa to enter Singapore, so our service is not designed for them. ICA’s Georgia page does not mention official passports, so if you hold one, ask ICA how it is treated.

  • Adults

Every adult has a separate application and files, including couples, relatives and friends travelling together.

  • Children

A child needs a separate application and a separate passport. A parent or guardian prepares the child’s details and photograph.

  • Georgians living abroad

What matters is the passport you hold, not where you live. Our checklist has no residence requirement, although the authorities may ask for further information in particular cases.

Rules set by Singapore (ICA)

  • Every traveller of any age must hold a valid, individually issued travel document. Collective travel documents are not accepted.
  • The passport must have at least six months of validity. In ICA’s guidance for Georgia the six months run from the day you enter Singapore.
  • ICA recommends applying for an entry visa within 30 days before you arrive.
  • A visa is only a pre-entry permission to travel to Singapore and seek entry. ICA officers decide at the checkpoint whether to grant an immigration pass.

Rules set by our service

  • The document checklist, including our hotel and travel-ticket standards.
  • Which passport nationalities we accept; Georgia is one of ten.
  • Our prices, processing options and cancellation terms.
  • Our online application process, which has not launched yet.

Following our checklist lets us prepare a complete application. It does not oblige the authorities to approve it, and we cannot promise that every applicant will be accepted.

The documents we require

This is the checklist on our requirements page. Each item is marked as either our own service requirement or based on ICA entry requirements. Depending on your circumstances we may ask for more.

  1. Our service requirement

    Application details

One online application for each traveller, children included, once our application opens.

All details must agree with the passport and the supporting documents.

  2. Based on ICA entry requirements

    Passport

A clear, full-colour scan of the passport biodata page showing your photograph, full name, passport number and other identity details.

The passport must be valid for at least six months from your planned arrival in Singapore.

  3. Our service requirement

    Hotel reservation

A confirmed booking for at least three nights of your stay, at a hotel rated three stars or higher.

Airbnb and other private accommodation, and invitations from friends, relatives or companies, cannot replace it. These are our own submission standards, not rules that apply to every visa application.

  4. Our service requirement

    Travel tickets

Confirmed tickets or bookings that show when you arrive in and leave Singapore. Flight, train and bus bookings are all acceptable.

  5. Our service requirement · depends on your circumstances

    Proof of work or business

If you are employed: a recent employment certificate or a letter from your employer.

If you are self-employed or run a business: a business registration document or trade licence.

  6. Photo must meet ICA requirements

    Passport-style photograph

A recent, good-quality colour photograph of every applicant that shows the face clearly and meets the Singapore visa photograph requirements.

Examples of an acceptable passport data page and photograph are shown on our requirements page.

No single document guarantees a visa. The authorities look at each application on its own and may ask for more.

Singapore visa prices for Georgian passport holders

Prices are in US dollars (USD) per applicant and are all-inclusive: each covers the ICA government visa fee and our professional service charge, which we do not show as separate amounts. The table compares the normal and express options.

Singapore tourist visa prices in US dollars for Georgian passport holders, by requested entry type and service
Entry type you requestNormal service5–7 working daysExpress service3–5 days
Single-entry$130 USD$180 USD
Double-entry$140 USD$190 USD
Multiple-entry$170 USD$220 USD

USD per applicant

Notes on the table

  • Each traveller, every child included, is a separate applicant and pays the price shown. We have no separate rate for children.
  • Choosing an entry type is a request. The Singapore authorities decide the entry type, validity and conditions of any visa they issue, so paying for one type does not guarantee that you will receive it.
  • The amounts are final prices in USD. The government fee and our service charge are not listed separately, and we do not publish prices in other currencies.

Normal and express processing

Both figures estimate how long our processing should take once your application is complete. Neither is a promised completion date.

Normal service

Estimated processing time

5–7 working days

The usual choice when you are planning ahead and your documents are ready.

Express service

Estimated processing time

3–5 days

A shorter estimate for tighter schedules, at a higher price. It describes our service option only and does not require ICA or any other authority to decide sooner.

  • Plan around the 30-day window

ICA recommends applying within 30 days before arrival. Collect your documents earlier, then agree the submission date with us so that it suits your travel dates.

  • The estimate starts at a complete file

The estimates count from the moment your application is complete. A missing document or a correction request adds time.

  • The authorities may take longer

Extra checks or requests for information by the authorities can push processing past the estimate.

How applying will work

Our online application has not launched. The steps below show the process we are building; at the moment you can only take the first one.

  1. Step 1

    Collect your documents

Use the checklist above to prepare the passport scan, photograph, hotel booking, tickets and any proof of work or business.

  2. Step 2

    Complete the application

When the service opens you will fill in one application per traveller, with details that match the passport.

  3. Step 3

    Upload and pay online

You will upload the documents and pay for your chosen service within the application. You cannot pay on this website yet.

  4. Step 4

    We review and submit

We check the file and email you if corrections are needed. When it is complete and verified, we process it and submit it through the applicable Singapore visa application channel.

  5. Step 5

    You receive the outcome

An approved e-Visa arrives by email. If the application is refused, we let you know and forward any refusal notice we receive; ICA does not usually explain its reasons.

This website has no working application form or checkout at the moment. Until it opens, use this page and our requirements page to prepare.

Preparing your passport and photograph

Mistakes in these two items are common and easy to prevent. The six-month rule comes from ICA; the remaining points are our own submission standards.

Based on ICA entry requirements

Checking the passport

Count six months forward from the day you arrive, not from the day you apply. If the passport falls short, renew it before submitting.

Scan the complete data page, flat and in colour, so that the photograph, name and number can all be read.

Write your name in Latin letters exactly as it appears in your passport on every form and booking. A document issued in Georgian, such as an employer’s letter or an older ticket, may transliterate the same name differently, so check that your tickets and hotel booking follow the passport spelling.

Take the original passport with you when you travel. We ask only for a digital copy of the data page.

Photo must meet ICA requirements

Checking the photograph

The points below are listed on our requirements page, and the picture must meet ICA’s photograph requirements:

  • Taken within the last three months, in colour.
  • A plain white background.
  • The whole face visible and turned to the camera, eyes open, nothing covering the face.
  • A sharp, natural image framed at head and shoulders.
  • No beauty filters, AI-generated reconstruction or heavy retouching.

Visa validity is separate from length of stay

The dates printed on a visa are easily mistaken for a right to stay. ICA treats the two as separate matters.

What a visa is

ICA describes an entry visa as a pre-entry permission to travel to Singapore and seek entry. It is not an immigration pass.

Who decides on entry

ICA officers decide at the checkpoint whether to grant an immigration pass. A valid visa does not guarantee entry, and officers may ask for proof of onward travel and sufficient funds.

How long you can stay

The Visit Pass issued when you enter sets your permitted stay, and it is notified electronically. It is independent of the visa’s validity period, and overstaying is an offence.

What we cannot promise

Any particular entry type, validity or length of stay. These depend on the visa actually issued.

Families and groups

Group travel is simplest when every person is treated as an individual application.

  • Individual applications

Each traveller, children included, has their own application. Prices are per applicant.

  • Individual passports

ICA requires every traveller of any age to hold an individually issued travel document, so a child cannot be added to a parent’s passport or application.

  • Supporting evidence varies

Proof of work or business applies to adults who are employed or run a business. For children we may request additional documents about the trip or the relationship to the adults travelling with them.

  • Cancellation applies per application

The USD $50 cancellation fee is charged for each application cancelled before submission to ICA, a child’s included.

Common document mistakes

These are practical checks rather than a list of reasons for refusal; ICA does not normally publish its reasons.

  1. Different spellings of one name

Compare the Latin spelling on tickets and the hotel booking with your passport, letter by letter.

  2. Passport validity counted from the wrong day

The six months are measured from your arrival in Singapore, not from the day you apply.

  3. A photograph that breaks the rules

Old pictures, coloured backgrounds, filters and retouching come up most often.

  4. Dates that do not match

Hotel nights, inbound and outbound tickets and the dates in your application should agree.

  5. A hotel below our standard

We need at least three nights in a hotel rated three stars or higher. Private accommodation, Airbnb and invitations do not qualify.

  6. Missing proof of work or business

If you are employed or run a business, include the matching document from the checklist.

Cancellation and refunds

These terms cover tourist visa applications. A summary follows; the complete wording is in our Refund Policy.

Before submission to ICA

Cancelling before we submit

If you cancel before we actually submit your application to ICA, a cancellation fee of USD $50 is charged per applicant and application.

It is deducted from the amount you paid, and the eligible balance is refunded, subject to applicable law. It is a deduction, not an additional charge.

After submission to ICA

After the application has reached ICA

Once the application has actually been submitted to ICA, the visa service amount you paid is non-refundable, even if the visa is refused or the application is otherwise unsuccessful, subject to applicable law.

A refusal on its own does not give a right to a refund after submission.

“Submission” means the actual submission to ICA, not our internal review of your documents.

If you believe a payment was charged twice or incorrectly, contact us and we will look into it. Billing errors and refunds required by law are handled separately from the cancellation terms above, and nothing here limits consumer rights that cannot lawfully be waived.

Questions from Georgian applicants

Brief answers that agree with our requirements, fees and refund pages.

Does a Georgian passport holder need a visa for Singapore?

ICA says that people holding a travel document issued by Georgia need a visa to enter Singapore, and that holders of diplomatic and service passports do not.

Rules can change, so confirm ICA’s current guidance before you book.

I hold an official passport. Does this service apply to me?

ICA’s Georgia page mentions only diplomatic and service passports as exempt. It does not say how official passports are treated, and we cannot say either.

Please ask ICA about your situation. Our service and prices are written for ordinary passports.

What documents do I have to provide?

A scan of your passport data page, a recent colour photograph, a qualifying hotel booking and your inbound and outbound tickets, plus proof of employment or of your business if that applies to you.

The whole checklist is on our requirements page, and we may ask for more in some cases.

Open the requirements page

My papers are in Georgian. How should I write my name?

In Latin letters, exactly as in your passport. Make sure that your tickets and hotel booking use the same spelling, because a different transliteration of the same name can look like a mismatch.

Can I show a private rental or an invitation instead of a hotel?

No. Our service needs a confirmed reservation for at least three nights at a hotel rated three stars or higher. Airbnb and other private accommodation, and invitations from friends, relatives or companies, are not accepted.

This is our own submission standard. It is not presented as a rule that applies to every visa application.

See the hotel requirement

What does the visa cost?

The price depends on the entry type you request and on normal or express service. The table above shows each amount in USD per applicant, and each already contains the ICA government visa fee and our service charge.

View the fee schedule

How long is normal processing?

We estimate 5–7 working days. This is an estimate, not a promise; corrections or additional checks can lengthen it.

How much faster is express?

Our estimate becomes 3–5 days, at a higher price. ICA and other authorities do not have to decide any faster, and the estimate is not a guaranteed date.

How do we apply with children?

Every child has an individual application and an individual passport. A parent or guardian prepares the details and photograph and may be asked for documents about the trip or the relationship with the accompanying adults.

The price is per applicant; there is no separate rate for children.

I live outside Georgia. Can I still apply?

Our service is open to holders of Georgian passports, and our checklist contains no country-of-residence rule. You need a valid passport and the documents on the checklist.

In individual cases the authorities may ask for more information.

Do I need a visa if I only change planes in Singapore?

ICA runs a separate 96-hour Visa-Free Transit Facility and names Georgia among the nationalities that may use it. A valid onward air ticket departing within 96 hours is required, you must leave Singapore by air, and ICA officers decide eligibility at the point of entry.

It is meant for transit, not for a tourist stay, and it is not part of our visa service. Read ICA’s current conditions before relying on it.

Read our general FAQ on transit

What if my visa is refused or I need to cancel?

If ICA refuses the application, we tell you and pass on any notice we receive; ICA does not usually give detailed reasons.

If you cancel before we actually submit the application to ICA, USD $50 per application is deducted and the eligible balance is refunded, subject to applicable law. After submission the amount paid is non-refundable, including after a refusal, subject to applicable law.

Read the Refund Policy

Can I apply and pay on this website now?

Not yet. Our online application and payment are not open, and we do not take applications or payments through the website. Meanwhile, use this page and the requirements page to prepare.
