How a Ukrainian passport holder gets a Singapore tourist visa

This page is for citizens of Ukraine who hold an ordinary passport and plan a short tourist stay in Singapore. Our requirements, prices and terms are put together here so that you can see the whole picture before you begin gathering papers.

Singapore’s Immigration & Checkpoints Authority (ICA) says that holders of a travel document issued by Ukraine need a visa to enter Singapore. It excludes holders of diplomatic, official and service passports from that requirement. We handle ordinary passports. Because ICA can revise its guidance, read its current wording before you spend money that cannot be refunded.

Ours is a private service rather than a government body, so the decision on an application is never ours. We explain what you need, check what you send and process the application when it is complete. Only the Singapore authorities decide the outcome, and this page promises no approval.

What we do

  • One clear list

The requirements for every traveller, collected in one place.

  • Checking your file

Your application and uploaded documents are read by us, and we email you if something needs correcting or adding.

  • Processing and submission

When your file is complete we process it and submit it through the applicable Singapore visa application channel.

  • Your e-Visa

An approved visa reaches you as an e-Visa, sent to the email address given in your application.

What usually goes wrong is small: a name transliterated one way on the ticket and another in the passport, hotel nights that stop short of the flight dates, a photograph from several years back. Comparing your documents with each other before you apply takes minutes and avoids most of it.

Who can use the service

Ordinary Ukrainian passports are among the ten passport nationalities that our tourist visa service covers today. The cards below show how that works in practice.

  • Ordinary passports

A Ukrainian passport that is valid and meets the six-month rule set out below.

  • The document you travel on

Your application is tied to the passport you will actually carry. If you also hold another nationality and travel on that passport, this page does not concern that trip.

  • Diplomatic, official and service passports

ICA states that these three types of passport need no visa for entry into Singapore, so our service is not intended for them. If you hold one, ask ICA about it directly.

  • Adults

Each adult has a separate application and file, including when travelling with a partner, family or friends.

  • Children

A child requires an application and an individual passport of their own; details and photograph are prepared by a parent or guardian.

  • Applicants who live or work abroad

What counts is the passport in your hand and not your place of residence. Our checklist contains no residence rule, but the authorities may request further information in some cases.

What Singapore (ICA) sets

  • Every traveller, whatever their age, must hold a valid document issued individually to them, and collective travel documents are not accepted.
  • ICA requires the passport to stay valid for six months or more, counted from the date of entry into Singapore.
  • ICA’s advice is to lodge the entry visa application inside the 30-day period that ends on your arrival.
  • The visa itself only permits travel to Singapore and a request for entry; admission is decided by ICA officers at the checkpoint.

What we set

  • The checklist of papers, with the hotel and ticket standards that are ours.
  • Which passport nationalities we accept; Ukraine is one of ten.
  • The prices, the processing choices and the rules on cancelling.
  • The online application under construction, which has not opened.

A complete application can be assembled once the checklist is met. That does not bind the authorities to approve it, and acceptance cannot be promised to anyone.

The documents to prepare

Our requirements page is the basis of this checklist. Every entry is marked either as our own service requirement or as resting on ICA entry requirements, and we may ask for more depending on your circumstances.

  1. Our service requirement

    Application details

When our application opens, each traveller, children included, completes a separate online application.

Everything you enter must agree with the passport and with your supporting documents.

  2. Based on ICA entry requirements

    Passport

The biodata page of the passport, scanned in clear colour so that the photograph, full name, passport number and other identity details can be read.

Six months of validity have to remain on the day of your planned arrival in Singapore.

  3. Our service requirement

    Hotel booking

A reservation, confirmed, for three nights or more of the trip in a hotel with a rating of three stars or above.

Airbnb and other private accommodation are no substitute, and neither are invitations from friends, relatives or companies. These are standards we apply to our own submissions, not rules for every visa application.

  4. Our service requirement

    Travel tickets

Confirmed tickets or reservations showing the dates of arrival in and departure from Singapore; flight, rail and bus tickets are all accepted.

  5. Our service requirement · applies depending on your situation

    Proof of work or business

If you work for an employer: a recent certificate of employment, or a letter from them.

Self-employed people and business owners: the business’s registration document or a trade licence.

  6. Photo must meet ICA requirements

    Passport-style photograph

A recent colour photograph of good quality for every applicant, showing the face clearly and meeting the Singapore visa photograph requirements.

Our requirements page includes a sample passport data page and a sample photograph that is acceptable.

Even a complete set of documents guarantees no visa. Each application is judged individually by the authorities, who may ask for more.

Visa prices for Ukrainian passport holders

Each amount below is in US dollars (USD), covers one applicant, and is all-inclusive: the ICA government visa fee and our professional service charge are inside it and are never listed separately. Normal and express appear together.

US dollar prices for a Singapore tourist visa on a Ukrainian passport, split by the entry type you request and by service level
Entry type you requestNormal service5–7 working daysExpress service3–5 days
Single-entry$130 USD$180 USD
Double-entry$140 USD$190 USD
Multiple-entry$170 USD$220 USD

USD per applicant

A few notes on the prices

  • Children are applicants too and pay what adults pay, so there is no children’s rate.
  • Requesting a type of entry is not the same as being given it: the Singapore authorities set the entry type, validity and conditions of any visa, which is why paying for one type guarantees nothing about what is issued.
  • Only USD is used. Ukrainian hryvnia and other currencies are not quoted, and no separate government-fee line appears.

Normal or express: choosing a pace

Both timings that follow are estimates of the working time we need after your application is complete, not dates we promise.

Normal service

Estimated processing time

5–7 working days

A sensible choice when departure is not close and your documents are ready.

Express service

Estimated processing time

3–5 days

Express costs more and has the shorter estimate, useful when time is tight. It is our own service option, and ICA and other authorities have no duty to decide sooner.

  • ICA’s 30-day advice

ICA recommends submitting in the final 30 days before you arrive. Prepare the papers ahead of that window, then settle with us on a submission date that fits your plans.

  • The estimate starts with a complete file

The countdown begins once your application is complete, and any missing item or requested correction adds time.

  • The authorities have their own pace

Further checks, or queries from the authorities, may stretch processing past our estimate.

How applying will work

The online application has not been launched. The steps below describe what we are building; for now, only step one is possible.

  1. Step 1

    Collect your documents

Tick off the checklist above: passport scan, photograph, hotel booking, tickets and, if relevant, proof of work or business.

  2. Step 2

    Complete the application

After launch, one application is filled in for each person travelling, and the details are copied exactly from the passport.

  3. Step 3

    Upload and pay online

Uploads and payment for the service you picked both happen inside the application; payment on this website is not available yet.

  4. Step 4

    We review and submit

Our team reviews the file and emails you about any corrections needed. After the file is complete and verified, we process it and submit it through the applicable Singapore visa application channel.

  5. Step 5

    You receive the outcome

You receive an approved visa as an e-Visa by email. A refusal is communicated to you, together with any refusal notice we receive.

No working application form or checkout exists on this website today. Until one does, prepare with this page and the requirements page.

Preparing the passport and the photograph

Two items cause most of the avoidable trouble. The six-month rule is ICA’s; everything else here is a standard we use when submitting.

Based on ICA entry requirements

Passport checks

Six months are measured from your day of arrival in Singapore and never from the day you apply; if the passport will not last that long, have it renewed before submitting anything.

Scan the whole data page in colour, flat and without glare, so that the photograph, name and number are all legible.

Preparation guidance, not an ICA requirement: copy the Latin spelling from the data page onto every form and booking. Ukrainian names can be written in Latin letters in several ways (for example ю as yu or iu, я as ya or ia, є as ye or ie), and an airline or booking site may follow a different scheme from the passport. Make the tickets and the hotel booking match the passport letter by letter.

Take the original passport with you on the journey; the application itself needs only a digital copy of the data page.

Photo must meet ICA requirements

Photograph checks

These points appear on our requirements page, and the photograph must also meet ICA’s own photograph requirements:

  • A colour image no more than three months old.
  • A plain white background.
  • Face fully visible and facing the camera, eyes open, with nothing across it.
  • A natural, sharp image framed at head and shoulders.
  • No beautifying effects, AI-generated reconstruction or heavy retouching.

An entry visa is not the same as permission to stay

Visa dates are easy to misread as the time allowed in Singapore, but they are separate matters, and ICA handles them separately.

What a visa is

ICA defines an entry visa as permission granted in advance to travel to Singapore and seek entry, and not as an immigration pass.

The checkpoint decision

At the checkpoint it is ICA officers who decide on admission and on issuing an immigration pass, and a valid visa does not guarantee entry.

Your actual stay

How long you may stay is fixed by the Visit Pass issued at entry. ICA treats that period as separate from the visa’s validity, and staying beyond it is not allowed.

What we promise

We make no promise about entry type, validity or length of stay, since those come from the visa actually issued.

Families and children

Planning is easiest when each traveller, whatever the age, counts as a separate application.

  • An application each

A parent, a child and a friend each file separately, and the price is counted per applicant.

  • A passport each

Every traveller is expected by ICA to hold a travel document issued to them alone, so a child cannot be added to a parent’s passport or application.

  • Different supporting papers

Evidence of work or business relates to adults who are employed or self-employed. Where a child is concerned, we may ask for papers about the trip or about how the child is related to the adults travelling with them.

  • Cancellation per application

Cancelling an application before it is submitted to ICA, a child’s one too, incurs a USD $50 cancellation fee.

Documentation problems to avoid

Treat these as sensible checks rather than reasons ICA has given for refusals.

  1. Names spelled differently across documents

Check the Latin spelling on the tickets and hotel booking against the passport letter by letter, including how ю, я, є and ї were written.

  2. The six months started on the wrong date

Counting starts on arrival in Singapore, so the day you submit makes no difference.

  3. A picture that does not follow the rules

Old pictures, coloured backgrounds, beautifying effects and heavy retouching are the usual causes.

  4. Dates that do not match

Hotel nights, tickets and application dates should all agree with each other.

  5. Accommodation below our standard

Our rule is three nights at the least, in a hotel with three stars or more; Airbnb, private accommodation and invitations are below the bar.

  6. No evidence of employment or business

Whoever is on a payroll or owns a company should attach the corresponding checklist document.

Cancellation and refunds

The terms below cover tourist visa applications. A summary is given here, and the complete wording is in our Refund Policy.

Before submission to ICA

Cancelling before we submit

If you cancel before we actually submit your application to ICA, a cancellation fee of USD $50 is charged per applicant and application.

It is deducted from the amount you paid, and the eligible balance is refunded, subject to applicable law. It is a deduction, not an additional charge.

After submission to ICA

When ICA holds the application

Once the application has actually been submitted to ICA, the visa service amount you paid is non-refundable, even if the visa is refused or the application is otherwise unsuccessful, subject to applicable law.

A refusal on its own does not give a right to a refund after submission.

“Submission” means the actual submission to ICA, not our internal review of your documents.

If you believe a payment was charged twice or incorrectly, contact us and we will look into it. Billing errors and refunds required by law are handled separately from the cancellation terms above, and nothing here limits consumer rights that cannot lawfully be waived.

Questions from holders of Ukrainian passports

Quick answers that match what our requirements, fees and refund pages say.

Is a visa needed for Singapore on a Ukrainian passport?

According to ICA, anyone holding a travel document issued by Ukraine needs a visa to enter Singapore; holders of diplomatic, official and service passports do not.

ICA may change its guidance, so confirm the current wording before you make bookings.

Is the service for ordinary passports only?

Yes. Our tourist visa service is for ordinary Ukrainian passports. ICA’s Ukraine page names no special treatment for any other travel document apart from the exemption it gives to diplomatic, official and service passports.

If you hold a different kind of document, ask ICA how it is treated; this page does not cover it.

What should I send you?

We need the passport data page as a scan, a recent colour photograph, a hotel booking meeting our standard, tickets for arrival and departure and, if they apply to you, proof of employment or of your business.

All of it is on our requirements page, and we may ask for more in some cases.

Open the requirements page

My name is in Cyrillic. How should I write it on the forms?

Exactly as the Latin spelling on the passport’s data page. The same Ukrainian name can be transliterated in more than one way, and airlines or booking sites may use another scheme. This is preparation guidance, not an ICA rule: if your tickets or hotel booking differ from the passport, correct them so that everything agrees.

Does a rental apartment or an invitation count in place of a hotel reservation?

No. The booking must be confirmed, cover at least three nights and be at a hotel rated three stars or higher. We do not accept Airbnb or other private accommodation, nor invitations from friends, relatives or companies.

The standard is our own submission standard; we do not present it as applying to every visa application.

See the hotel requirement

What does the visa cost?

What you pay is determined by the entry type requested and by whether you take normal or express service. The table above has every amount in USD per applicant, each with the ICA government visa fee and our service charge included.

View the fee schedule

What is the expected time for normal service?

Our estimate is 5–7 working days; treat that as an estimate, not a promise, since corrections or additional checks can lengthen it.

What does express service change?

Choosing express changes the estimate to 3–5 days and raises the price. ICA and other authorities are not bound to decide quicker, and the estimate is not a guaranteed date.

Does the validity of the visa show how long I may stay?

No. ICA keeps visa validity and length of stay apart: the Visit Pass issued on entry decides how long you may remain, and a visa does not guarantee entry.

Our general FAQ on validity

What do I do for my children?

A child gets an individual application and an individual passport. The parent or guardian prepares the details and photograph and may be asked for papers about the trip or about the child’s relationship to the adults who come along.

The price is per applicant, and children have no rate of their own.

I live abroad, or I hold another passport as well. Does it change anything?

We apply the same checklist wherever you live: a valid Ukrainian passport plus the listed documents. Still, the authorities may request more information in individual cases.

A passport from another country brings the requirements for that document into play, not those on this page.

Do I need a visa just to change planes in Singapore?

ICA runs its own 96-hour Visa-Free Transit Facility, and its page lists Ukraine among the nationalities that may be eligible, in a section shared with the CIS countries, Georgia and Turkmenistan. Conditions include transit to or from a third country, a valid onward air ticket departing within 96 hours, and leaving Singapore by air. The stay cannot be extended, and ICA officers assess eligibility at the point of entry.

It exists for transit and not for a tourist stay, and it is no part of our visa service. Check the conditions ICA currently publishes before relying on it.

Our general FAQ on transit

What happens after a refusal, or if I cancel?

If ICA refuses the application, we let you know and send on any notice we receive.

If you cancel before we actually submit the application to ICA, USD $50 per application is deducted and the eligible balance is refunded, subject to applicable law. After submission the amount paid is non-refundable, including after a refusal, subject to applicable law.

Read the Refund Policy

Can the website take my application and payment now?

No, not yet. Neither the online application nor payment has opened, and no applications or payments are taken through this website. Until they do, use this page and the requirements page to prepare.
