🇵🇰Tourist visa information for Pakistani passport holders

Singapore Visa for Pakistani Citizens

This page sets out what a Pakistani passport holder should prepare for a Singapore tourist visa: the documents ICA asks for, how to organise passport and identity records, where translation rules apply, and how the SG Arrival Card works as a separate requirement.

  • From $130 USD

    Prices per applicant

USD amounts that include the ICA government visa fee and our professional service charge.

  • 5–7 working days · 3–5 days

    Two service options

Normal and express estimates are set out in the processing section below.

  • Entry type you request

Single, double or multiple entry. The Singapore authorities decide what is granted.

  • Each traveller applies separately

Adults and children each need their own application and passport.

When a Singapore visa is needed for a Pakistani passport

Singapore’s Immigration & Checkpoints Authority (ICA) keeps a visa-required list. Pakistan appears on it, which means a tourist trip on a Pakistani travel document generally calls for a visa, unless ICA confirms a different position for a particular document.

The list is the starting point, not the whole answer. ICA’s country information for Pakistan does not describe an exemption for diplomatic, official or service passports, so anyone holding a different category of document should confirm the position with ICA before relying on this page. Guidance changes over time, so read ICA’s current position before paying for non-refundable bookings.

Our service helps you assemble a complete file and send it through a channel ICA allows. We do not decide visas, and we cannot promise approval or entry. Those decisions rest with the Singapore authorities.

What our preparation service covers

  • Document checklist

A list drawn from ICA’s requirements, with our own submission standards marked separately, so you can see what is mandatory and what we ask for.

  • File review

We compare names, dates, passport details and translations with each other before anything is submitted.

  • Submission

Once the file is complete and verified, we send it through the channel that applies.

  • Outcome delivery

The e-Visa comes electronically to the address on your file once approved.

The problems that hold applications up are usually paperwork problems: a passport close to expiry, a translation that is missing, or a name spelled two ways. Dealing with them early is the most useful step you can take.

Who this guide is written for

This page covers ordinary Pakistani passports. If you hold a diplomatic, official, service or any other type of travel document, check that document with ICA, because the rules depend on the document you actually hold.

  • Holders of ordinary passports

Your passport must be an individually issued travel document. A national identity card does not replace a passport for this application.

  • Adults applying alone

One application and one set of documents. Keep copies of everything you submit, together with the reference emails you receive from our team.

  • Applicants who need a letter of introduction

Where ICA requires Form V39A, it may be issued by a local contact who is a Singapore citizen or permanent resident, aged 21 or over, with a Singpass account.

  • Families

Each traveller, including every child, needs an individual application and an individual passport.

Set by Singapore (ICA)

  • A travel document issued by Pakistan requires a visa to enter Singapore, according to ICA’s visa-required list.
  • Validity must extend at least six months past the date you enter Singapore.
  • ICA’s advice is to submit in the 30 days leading up to arrival.
  • Original documents must be provided with copies, and ICA may request further documents case by case.

Set by our service

  • The checklist we use, including our hotel and travel-booking standard.
  • Fees and estimates, as set out further down this page.
  • Cancellation and refund terms.
  • The order in which we review and submit files.

A complete file helps us prepare your application, but it does not decide the visa and does not promise entry.

Required items and conditional items

We separate the items ICA lists for a business or social visit from items that depend on your circumstances and from our own submission standards. Each item carries one of these labels.

  1. ICA requirement

    Signed Form 14A

Form 14A must be completed and signed by you. ICA bases the application on the information declared in this form, so every answer should match your passport and travel plans.

  2. ICA requirement

    Passport biodata page

A photocopy of the biodata page. The passport behind it must still be valid six months after entry. Keep the original with you for travel.

  3. ICA requirement

    Recent passport-size colour photograph

Taken within the last three months. The photograph section below explains the points we check.

  4. Conditional · ICA requirement

    Official English translations

Needed for any record that is not in English, for example a certificate written in Urdu. ICA accepts a translation from the embassy of the issuing country, a notary public, or a private translation that is attested or notarised. ICA does not endorse private translation companies.

  5. Conditional · ICA procedure

    Form V39A letter of introduction

May be required case by case. It may be issued by a local contact who is a Singapore citizen or permanent resident, aged 21 or over, with a Singpass account.

  6. Our submission standard

    Hotel reservation and travel bookings

Under our standard, a hotel booking for at least three nights at a three-star or better property, plus confirmed travel bookings. Our standard does not accept Airbnb or private invitations in place of the hotel booking.

Our requirements page includes annotated examples of a biodata page and a properly framed photo.

ICA may request additional documents case by case, and no single document guarantees approval.

Fees for Pakistani applicants

Our fees are US dollar amounts per applicant. Each one includes the ICA government visa fee and our professional service charge, and the two are not shown as separate amounts. The table sets out the normal and express options for each entry type.

Multiple-entry$170 USD$220 USD

Reading the fee table

  • Prices are per applicant. Each traveller, including each child, needs their own application.
  • The entry type is the one you request. The Singapore authorities decide the entry type, validity and conditions of any visa they issue, and no entry type is guaranteed.
  • The amounts are the final prices for this service. The government fee and our service charge are not listed as separate amounts.

Processing: our estimates and ICA’s published timing

Each estimate starts when we hold a complete, verified file. These figures describe our service pace and are not a promised date.

Normal service

Estimated processing time

5–7 working days

Suited to applicants who have time to gather translations and records before the submission date.

Express service

Estimated processing time

3–5 days

A shorter estimate at a higher price. It does not oblige ICA to decide faster.

  • What ICA publishes

ICA’s country information for Pakistan states that a visa application is processed within three working days, excluding the day of submission. That is a separate statement from ICA. Our estimates above describe our own service and do not replace it.

  • Timing the submission

ICA’s guidance is to submit within the 30 days before you travel. Translations and records need time, so start them early.

  • Requests for more information

If ICA or our review asks for an extra document, the timeline extends by the time that takes.

From preparation to outcome

The steps below follow the order we use for every file. Each step says what you are responsible for and what we do.

  1. Step 1

    Check your passport and records

Confirm the expiry date, the biodata page and the spelling of your name against every other document. Identify any record that needs an English translation.

  2. Step 2

    Complete your own application form

Each traveller completes a separate form. Names, dates and the passport number must match the passport exactly.

  3. Step 3

    Upload and review

Upload the scans and the photograph. Our team reviews the file and emails you if anything needs correcting.

  4. Step 4

Pay the fee for your chosen service

The payment covers the service option you chose, and the application shows the amount.

  5. Step 5

    Submit through the applicable channel

ICA allows submission through its e-Service with a strategic partner or a local contact, or at a Singapore Overseas Mission or through its authorised visa agent. Once the file is complete and verified, we use the route that applies to it.

  6. Step 6

    Receive the outcome

An approved visa arrives as an e-Visa at the address on your file. If the file is refused, we inform you as soon as the outcome reaches us.

Keep copies of every document you send, and keep the reference emails from our team with your travel papers.

Passport checks and the photograph

Passport and photograph details are quick to check and easy to get wrong, so review them before you start. The validity rule is an ICA requirement. The photograph points reflect ICA’s requirement for a recent colour passport-size photograph and our checklist.

ICA requirement

Your passport

Start the six-month count at your intended entry date. Measuring from the day you submit gives a wrong answer. A passport that expires inside that window should be renewed first.

Upload a legible copy of the biodata page. Every line on it should be readable, including the number and both dates.

ICA’s requirement refers to original documents together with copies. Keep your original passport and original records safe, and do not send away an original you may need to show.

ICA requirement

Your photograph

Use a photograph taken for this application. These points reflect the ICA requirement and our checklist:

  • A colour image no older than three months.
  • A plain background, with no pattern and no other people in view.
  • Your full face visible and facing the camera, with your eyes open.
  • Head and shoulders in frame, with a natural appearance.
  • No filters, beauty editing or AI-generated reconstruction.

Visa, Visit Pass and transit

A visa and your permitted stay answer different questions. The visa governs whether you may travel to Singapore and seek entry. The Visit Pass governs how long you may stay once you are admitted.

What the visa covers

It sets the period during which the visa can be used to travel and seek entry. It is not the number of days you may stay.

What the Visit Pass covers

The length of stay the officers grant appears on your electronic Visit Pass, issued at the checkpoint.

Entry is decided at the checkpoint

An approved visa does not guarantee admission. Officers may ask about onward travel and the funds you have for the visit.

Transit through Singapore

ICA’s published Visa-Free Transit Facility names several nationalities and passport categories. Pakistan is not among them, so this page does not describe a transit exemption for Pakistani passport holders. If you plan a stopover, confirm the position with ICA before you book.

Children and families

Applications are individual. A family’s documents are organised as several separate files, not as one shared file.

  • Separate applications

Every traveller, including each child, has an application and a fee of their own.

  • Individual passports

A child needs a travel document of their own. A parent’s passport cannot carry the child.

  • Extra papers for children

We may ask for additional documents about a child’s travel arrangements or family relationship. The request depends on the file, and we explain exactly what is needed.

  • Cancellation counts per application

A cancellation fee applies to each application, so a family of three travellers has three applications to consider.

Document mistakes and how to avoid them

These are the paperwork points we check before submission. ICA does not generally explain refusals, so this list is about preparation rather than a forecast of outcomes.

  1. A passport close to expiry

Six months are counted from entry, so an expiring passport needs renewal before you file.

  2. A name spelled differently across records

Compare each name with the passport, including initials and the order of names, and with any translation you prepare.

  3. A non-English record without a translation

A certificate written in Urdu needs an official English translation under ICA’s requirements. Prepare the translation before you submit, not after a request arrives.

  4. Using an identity card instead of the passport

The application is based on your passport. An identity card does not replace it.

  5. Treating the arrival card as the visa

The arrival card and the visa are separate. Filing one does not satisfy the other.

  6. Planning transit on an assumed exemption

Confirm transit conditions with ICA before you book. This page does not describe a transit exemption for Pakistani passport holders.

Cancelling and refund terms

These are the rules for tourist visa applications, summarised here. The full policy is on our Refund Policy page.

Before submission to ICA

Cancelling before we submit

If you cancel before we submit your application to ICA, a cancellation fee of USD $50 applies per applicant and application.

The fee is deducted from the amount you paid, and the remaining eligible amount is refunded, subject to applicable law.

After submission to ICA

Once the application is submitted

After submission to ICA, the paid visa service fee is non-refundable, subject to applicable law.

A refusal does not by itself make a submitted application refundable.

If you believe a payment was duplicated or charged incorrectly, contact us so that we can review it. Legally required refunds and billing errors are handled separately.

Nothing in these rules limits statutory consumer rights that cannot be waived.

Questions from Pakistani passport holders

Short answers to the questions this page tends to prompt. They match the requirements, fee and refund pages.

Does a Pakistani passport need a Singapore visa?

Pakistan sits on ICA’s visa-required list, so a Pakistani travel document needs a visa for entry.

ICA’s country information for Pakistan does not describe an exemption for diplomatic, official or service passports. Other document types should be checked with ICA.

View the requirements

Can I transit through Singapore on a Pakistani passport without a visa?

The Visa-Free Transit Facility published by ICA does not name Pakistan, so this page does not describe a transit route for Pakistani passport holders.

If you plan a stopover, check the current position with ICA before you book.

How long must my passport remain valid?

At least six months from the date of your entry into Singapore. Count from the intended arrival date, not from the date you apply.

Do non-English records need to be translated?

Yes. Under ICA’s requirements, a record in a language other than English needs an official English translation. ICA accepts a translation from the issuing country’s embassy, a notary public, or a private translation that is attested or notarised.

What is Form V39A?

It is a letter of introduction for a visa application. ICA may require it case by case. A local contact who is a Singapore citizen or permanent resident, aged 21 or over with a Singpass account, may issue it.

How can the application be submitted?

ICA allows online submission through its e-Service with a strategic partner or a local contact, or submission at the nearest Singapore Overseas Mission or through its authorised visa agent. ICA does not accept visa applications at its immigration counters.

How long does processing take?

Our normal and express estimates are in the processing section. ICA’s country information for Pakistan states processing within three working days, excluding the day of submission. Neither is a guaranteed completion date.

Is the SG Arrival Card filed on top of the visa?

The card applies to all travellers, with narrow exemptions, and filing it is free. It is a separate step: it is not a visa and cannot stand in for one.

About the SG Arrival Card

Where do I find my permitted length of stay?

On your electronic Visit Pass. Immigration officers set the period at the checkpoint, and it is separate from the visa’s validity dates.

Does the photograph have to be recent?

Yes. ICA asks for a recent colour passport-size photograph taken within the last three months. Filters and digital alteration are not acceptable under our checklist.

View the photo sample

Can I cancel after paying?

Yes, subject to our rules. Before submission to ICA, a USD $50 cancellation fee applies per applicant and application, and the remaining eligible amount is refunded, subject to applicable law. After submission, the paid visa service fee is non-refundable, subject to applicable law.
